TCEB’s respect for native identities brings TBEX Asia 2021 to Phuket

The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) system to cover the various facets of each MICE city has brought a unique opportunity for the Phuket office to host TBEX Asia 2021 where more than 600 mobile, creative and world-leading bloggers will make a contribution to this Andaman paradise to hear their customs and traditions.

It is part of the TCEB training program that promotes and promotes the attraction of MICE Cities across the country in collaboration with all governments to develop strategies based on the DNA of their destination.

Thailand’s current MICE Cities include Phuket, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Bangkok, Pattaya, Songkhla, Nakhon Ratchasima.

The office has recently established four MICE regional offices in the north, northeast, central and south. Phuket, the southern office is planning to create MICE production and local cultural events and local areas for the island to have new experiences for MICE travelers and the beauty of the Andaman Sea and cultural diversity.

“The success of inviting Phuket to host TBEX Asia from October 20-22, 2021, is that it is following our ideas and it is time for the island to introduce its new MICE brand as about 600 mobile bloggers, producers, and filmmakers are expected to be present at the event.” .

Through a partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the governing body TBEX Asia 2021, and the City of Phuket, TCEB launched a Media and Blogger Inspection Trip from October 6-8, 2020 for bloggers from Thailand to watch more than just the sun, the sea and the sand, but the island is full of beautiful scenery and fascinating history.

According to Christopher Lau, one of the bloggers who took part, he said: “Phuket is a place that can be considered extreme and known for jumping on the island. This is wrong. I just went around exploring Phuket’s history as well as staying in the first hotel in Phuket. “It was an experience I would encourage anyone going to Phuket – to know the history of the largest island in Thailand. We will have to spend time with everyone!”
