SeaPlane companies could be coming to India
On my last trip to the Maldives, I had the opportunity to enjoy a cruise. I really enjoyed the trip and wished that even India would be the same as the one in the Maldives as the experience would never end.
And according to recent reports, India has also agreed to establish maritime transport services for travelers and the First Sea is set to begin on October 31 this year. The region of Gujarat would be the first place where maritime aviation operations begin and the first seaplane connecting the Sabarmati Riverfront to the Statue of Unity.
The project is said to be the first of its kind and will be a 19-seater seaplane that will now have about 12 riders.
The launch of the Sea Plane is part of the Government of India’s UDAN program to promote tourism in the country. UDAN is a state-of-the-art airport-enabled gateway to reduce connectivity. And he said, India would have 16 modes of transportation and would be building a waterfront for them to get in and out.
The 10 ways in which Plane plans start in this country are:
- Image of Unity, Gujarat
- Shatrunjay Blood, Gujarat
- Sabarmati River, Gujarat
- Nagarjuna SagarDam, Telangana
- Prakasam Barrage, Andhra Pradesh
- Umrangsao National Park, Assam
- Brahmputra River, Assam
- Long Island, Andaman & Nicobar
- Swaraj Dweep, Andaman & Nicobar
- Shaheed Dweep, Andaman & Nicobar
In addition, the project is also expected from Uttarakhand and Yamuna to Upper Dam extension where we are still getting more.
