Amazon India has decided to partner with the IRCTC to provide train tickets to reserve space for users on its Android and iOS apps.

New Delhi | Jagran Business Department: In a bid to help tens of thousands of commuters across the country, Amazon India has decided to partner with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to offer train tickets on its Android and iOS applications.
In a statement, the E-commerce page said riders, who will register train tickets under the Amazon Pay page in the app, have earned 100 Rs on their first train ticket.
The company also said riders who are a member of Amazon Prime will receive 12 percent from your first reservation. However, it should be noted that the donations are only temporary.
“For the first time, Amazon.in has eliminated payment and payment at the gateway. With this launch, Amazon Pay is adding another travel component, thus providing its customers with a retail space that can register flights, buses and train tickets,” Amazon India said in a statement.
Amazon has said that this will also enable users to control the number and seats in all high schools, noting that tuition fees and gate fees have also been eliminated “in the early stages”.
Passengers will also check the status of PNR, says Amazon India, adding that customers will be reimbursed immediately if they are removed if they reserve tickets from its program.
“We are excited to partner with the IRCTC and move the sector forward so that our lives can be simpler and easier for our customers. Last year, we launched air travel and bus tickets for Amazon,” said Vikas Bansal, director of Amazon Pay.
