Don’t ban interstate travel, please

SINCE the run-up to the management of operations (MCO), my husband and I have tried to reserve a few places in the local hotels. We have been to Haven (Ipoh), PPT Hotel (Muar), Andaman (Langkawi), and Hotel Stripes and Mandarin (Kuala Lumpur).

We have also reserved accommodation in Ipoh at the end of October. All of this was for a hotel package on a private tour to attract visitors.

All the hotels gave us five-star services even though some of them were not five hotels. We noticed that the staff were very appreciative of their stay in their hotels. Some employees told us that they should be given pay and some were on unpaid leave during MCO and MCO accreditation.

Please do not restrict travel or charge us if we go to other countries from Selangor. Many people in the hospitality industry have had no money for the past few months since the MCO was established. Hear our petition, hear our cry, have mercy.

By the way, all the hotels we stayed in were SOP caregivers!
